Apple has without explanation removed the ability to rent TV shows from both iTunes and its Apple TV, taking away what was just last year one of the major advertised selling points of the $99 streaming-centric set-top box...

Summary

You can rent TV Shows from the iTunes Store and watch them on your Mac or Windows computer, iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Apple TV (2nd generation).1 When you rent a TV Show, you have 30 days to begin watching, and 48 hours to complete it.

Note: TV rentals are only available in the United States.
